About Me

Samantha Joseph, BScPT

I am an intuitive, empathetic Physiotherapist as well as a proud Health Advocate on life’s excursion to explore and achieve holistic health.

Facilitating others’ goals is the heart of my existence. I believe that everyone should be able to lead a healthy, happy life and hence, created this platform to help myself and others discover their true physical power and potential.

I come from a culturally blended childhood as I was nurtured separately by my Trinidadian mum and British dad. My upbringing in two opposite worlds, combined with my enrolment in six different schools, compounded with my participation in the Global Young Leadership Conference in the United States, has surely fostered my appreciation and respect of persons from all walks of life.

The Physiotherapy profession truly aligns with my strengths of problem solving and in-depth research as well as my compassionate nature towards the less fortunate.

“Doctors save your life & a Physical Therapist helps you live it!”

Why I chose Physical Therapy

To empower the world through education about researched based solutions to live a better quality of life. We all deserve our full range of motion and this is why I am proud to wake up as a Physiotherapist everyday.

St Augustine Girls’ High School

Per Ardua Ad Astra meaning Through Hard Work We Reach the Stars are words that I still live by. This has influenced my interest in research and evidence based therapy. My balanced secondary school education allows me to apply my technical knowledge to multiple lifestyles and temperments.

University of the West Indies, Mona

At Mona I entered a whole new world and became fully immersed in Physical Therapy. There, I learnt to live and work among a diverse group of colleagues from many different Caribbean cultures and backgrounds.

Internship and Beyond

This pandemic has been a challenge mentally and physically for many including myself. As I await my internship placement, this website will be the place for me to share my knowledge freely and include you in my journey to become a movement specalist.
